Sunday, 26th April – Rumination and Emotional Distress
Getting stuck in repetitive thought loops can intensify emotional distress and make it difficult to move forward. This workshop explores rumination as a mental pattern—why the mind keeps returning to the same thoughts, and how it can prolong feelings of anxiety, sadness, or frustration. Participants will learn to differentiate between reflection and rumination, and understand how these loops are maintained. The session introduces practical ways to interrupt these patterns, shift attention, and respond to difficult emotions with greater awareness and flexibility.
